drama disclaimer

I forgot to mention a few things in my last post:

-The ER did tell me what was going on with my heart. It's called Paroxysmal Atrial Tachycardia or Paroxysmal Supraventrical Tachycardia. It means "sudden onset of fast heart beating". Ha. They gave me education materials explaining it. It is usually not a dangerous condition, because it normally goes away within a few minutes. They said that I should come back again if I have another episode that lasts more than 20 minutes.

-There was no effect on me or the baby, but that's why they kept me in the hospital for 7 hours. Just to make sure. The baby was fine and all his and my vitals were normal the rest of the time we were in the hospital. Today, he is still kicking me in the kidney and rib cage like normal. Everything is totally fine with both me and the baby.

Interesting, I talked with my mom today about it all and she said that both she and her sister, Cindy, and Cindy's daughter Rachel have episodes like this. Mom's goes away when she lies down, just like me. Cindy's and Rachel's have been more severe. I didn't know it was genetic.

I am glad that it turned out well! One begins to worry a bit with a title of 'pregnancy drama.'

I have had the same thing. It's a terrible feeling!!! I am so sorry that you have it too.

I am relieved that you and the baby are alright. Oh, and of course Brett too. I hate car accidents!
