birthday stuff

My sister has been doing an excellent job with her blog since she moved to Chicago. She does many pictures and few words. That way, I think it doesn't take much time and it's very entertaining as well.

My problem is that I keep forgetting to charge my camera batteries and so I go do something picture worthy and I can't take any pictures, because my camera died. But here are a few pics from my birthday party that I took and some that my mother took.

Dave was in Utah for the weekend and he stayed with us a couple of nights. Before we headed to Mom's house, we went on a motorcycle ride up to the top of Emigration.
Dave seemed pretty scared at first, but he got used to it. Brett was on his Ducati, which has only one seat, and I took Dave on my fz6 (Yamaha). Dave settled down and enjoyed the ride once we got into the canyon.
When we got to Mom's house, Brett tried out Nicolle's dress, to see if he could pull it off for his next show. Unfortunately, the rest of the band was too conservative and got really nervous about Brett's dress idea. So he ended up just wearing pants.
Johnathan was very soft with the kitty, but I was amazed at how trusting Hero was. She only ran away when he started to bounce with excitement and hit her.
We went out into my parents' beautiful backyard to cool off a bit. Brett was dozing when Colette ran up and jumped on his stomach.
I thought this was a nice picture, except that I was on the phone. But it's okay, because I was talking to my sister.
Colette looks just like a fairy in this photo. It's more than just the poofy pink dress, she's got elf mischief going on in her eyes and eyebrows.
Once we went back inside, Colette tied Hero to the chair while no one was watching. She was very upset when everyone told her that was naughty.
This is a classic picture of Johnathan. He's a little zombie, always biting and clenching his teeth on something. Here he's eating the tablecloth. If you're not careful, he runs up to you like he's going to give you a hug, but instead he bites you on the leg.
And finally, we had the birthday cake. I turned 27 this year. Wow. 27 seems like I should be feeling old, but at the same time, I feel like I couldn't care less.

Dave looks so cool in the motor gear and Brett looks HOT in the dress. I like having a blog. All day long (when I'm not painting or in class) I am looking around for things to show my family. I miss my sister!
